Gilda Radner’s dream was to create a free cancer support community for people with cancer, their families and friends. Today, that dream is fulfilled at Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit, a three-story non-residential house in Royal Oak. Since opening the signature red door in January 1998, Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit has welcomed more than 10,000 members for social and emotional support and a whole lot of FUN.
Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit provides a social and emotional support program for men, women, teens and children living with cancer, their families and friends in a nonresidential, home-like setting. There is no cost to participate in the program. www.gildasclubdetroit.org
